Restoring Kingsholme
Our mission is to enhance children and families lives and relationships with Christ through fostering and mentorship while providing a safe and nurturing environment.
Kingsholme is a Christian run property owned by not-for-profit organization Pathways Tasmania.
Over the last 40 years Kingsholme has had a variety of uses, including being a drug and alcohol rehab center.
The Kingsholme property consists of 212 acres, 5 houses, several multi-purpose buildings called "the center" and a beautiful oasthouse.
Due to a lack of funding, maintenance and restoration of the property for the last decade has been minimal and Kingsholme now needs some TLC to ensure that it's available for further use.
Stage 1 of our vision is to utilize two of the houses on the property as Christian run, long term, sibling foster care homes while the remaining three houses will be filled by families in need of support and mentoring.
With the help of your generous donations, we will be able to freshen up and fence all five homes.
Stage 2 of our vision involves a complete renovation of the former rehab centre. The new centre will be available for Christian and corporate retreats. Any income from the hiring of the center will be used to assist the running and maintaining of the Kingsholme farm and additional programs run by Pathways Tasmania.
We welcome your support and thank you for your generosity.
