Family of Gonzalo Barajas

Yesterday, our family friend, Gonzalo Barajas, lost his battle against metastatic colon cancer at just 39 years old. His had been brave and fought gallantly against this terrible disease.  He has left behind three young children; Gonzalo, Jr. 3, Michelle, 11, and Evelyn 14; and his dedicated wife Cecy who has stood by his side through all of the chemotherapy which ravaged his body. When he was diagnosed 3 years ago, he was already in an advanced stage. The doctors had given him only 6 months to live. Always the dedicated family man, he was determined to survive to provide for his family. Even when very weak from chemotherapy, he continued to work to help provide for his family. That was just who he was, a hard worker and a fighter.  Gonzalo was the rock of his family and joy to so many other people.  Even as his life was coming to an end, he was dreaming of the future of his children. Your support will help with the funeral expenses and financial needs of the family who have lost their primary source of financial support.   Please help carry on Gonzalo's legacy and ensure that his family does not have to worry about their futures with any support you can give.  Help them ease the burden of the tremendous loss of their dedicated father.

Anteayer, nuestro amigo Gonzalo Barajas perdio su lucha contra el cancer despues de tres años muy dificiles. Tenia 39 años. Su lucha, al igual que su vida, fue ejemplar, nunca tuvo una queja, a pesar del tremendo deterioro fisico que su cuerpo iba sufriendo causado por la quimoterapia y la progresion del cancer. Gonzalo trabajo por su familia hasta que no pudo mas. Nunca pidio ayuda; solo pidio trabajo. Gonzalo ha dejado a sus tres hijos: Evelyn 14, Michelle 11, y Gonzalo, Jr. 3, y a su esposa, Cecy, que no se aparto ni un momemto de su lado. Los hijos de Gonzalo podran salir adelante porque han visto el ejemplo de su padre y porque tienen su misma fortaleza de caracter, pero aun son muy pequeños para hacerlo sin nuestra ayuda. Entre todos, podemos echarles una mano para darles lo que Gonzalo hubiera querido.
