Shawn and I have been watching the news about the destruction Hurricane Michael has left in it's path and we feel called to help. There are still so many who have no food, water or basic supplies to get through until major help arrives.
We plan on renting a truck and filling it with Food, Water, and other basic necessities such as toiletries, baby needs, tarps, blankets, pillows and towels for those whom were left with nothing.
All expenses for travel and transport will be covered by us, but we need YOUR help to fill the truck. We feel our time and resources will be better spent collecting money and then going to purchase the aforementioned items needed to fill the truck. We will be updating the posting as we go along so you can see your donations being used!
Every penny donated will be given out in the form of supplies or gift cards to those in need. A complete list of receipts for all donations used can be furnished upon our return.
We plan on leaving no later than Tuesday (October 16th) of this week so we need to get donations in FAST!
