Help the TRAILHEAD CAFE recover

Donation protected
On March 30, 2015 The Trailhead Cafe was broken into and a large amount of cash was stolen.  Many of us understand how tough island winters are.  Angel and Matt, the owners of The Trailhead are just trying to get by and this year has proven to be more challenging than most.

As you know, both Angel and Matt are strong supporters of the community. They kept The Trailhead open until the wee hours and gave free food and coffee to all the fire fighters  while they battled The Portside fire this fall.  They selflessly give their time to support the theatre program at the highschool and helped fight to reinstate the music program at Connors Emerson. Matt serves on committees for the Town of Bar Harbor in addition to being an administrator on Bar Harbor Barter and Swap. They are part of what makes island life so great.  They help define our community.
The money that was stolen was money for their rent, their mortgage and their electric bill.   Without it they are in real danger of losing everything they love.

When Angel and Matt discovered they'd been robbed, they said, "We still think people are good, especially in this community. Being in the tough financial position right now myself, I'm choosing to believe that it was just someone desperate. And hope that the money gets them through whatever it was they needed."

It's our turn to help them get what they need. Can you help them recover from this?  Any amount you donate will be appreciated!
