A wise person has said, “The most powerful thing in the world is an idea whose time has come.”
The growing momentum to reclaim and restore the Bethel Temple facility and ministry gives new credence to that statement, “Bethel Temple’s time has come!”
The graphic vision that God showed Ezekiel of the “valley of dry bones” is much like our own situation. A once impactful, 45-year old ministry is no longer existent. Our once stately sanctuary lies in devastation, a painful “eye-sore” to all who observe it. And worse still, jubilant shouts of praise no longer fill its portals. Satan, the arch-enemy of God has released his latest dispatch and it contains only two words……MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
My question to God’s people is simply this: shall we surrender, or shall we stand our ground and fight to reclaim our God-given possession? May our resolve be to resist the devil, to answer his challenge with bull dog tenacity.
The commitment to restore the Bethel Temple facility and ministry is gaining momentum. Just as God moved King Cyrus to rebuild the Jerusalem Temple we too, feel a compelling passion to restore Bethel- The House of God. This task won’t be easy. We will need God’s help every step of the way. And in order to ensure His help, we must be willing to forgive and forget yesterday’s failures and disappointments. We simply cannot expect God’s favor on our endeavors if we attempt to sow among thorns.
Bethel’s future is bright with new possibilities. And as my friend, the late Elder Harris would say, “I’m excited!” I invite you to come aboard and share the excitement as God infuses this ministry with new life. Your help is urgently needed NOW!
