Hi everyone! I really need your help to reach my dreams! I'm going to break it down in a little "Who, What, When, Where, Why, How"
Who: Me of course! I'm Denelle Lanoville and I'm 18 years old
What: I've been training with a Talent group called UTG for the past month and we had a Showcase Audition in which I was selected to participate in this years iPOP Convention. It's a HUGE convention in which select girls and boys can train, compete, and audition for TONS of agents in hopes of landing a career in the Entertainment Industry! But of course, you have to pay to play.
When: The convention starts July 1st until July 5th of 2015, but my deadline for payment will be June 1st.
Where: The event takes place in Los Angeles, California.
Why: All my life I have been extremely shy. I had such a hard time dealing with appearance, confidence, and like many kids, I was bullied. I was always a polite kid, but I could never start a conversation or be myself. For some reason over the past 2 years I've slowly been gaining confidence. I've been able to learn how to properly stand up to bullies. I learned how to show people who I really am. I eventually built up enough confidence that I was able to sign up to audition for Undiscovered Talent Group. I actually made it! I took classes with UTG for a month for modeling and acting and then it was time to audition for three agents. One of which was a scout for the iPOP Convention. I was called back and invited to go. My hard work to overcome my fears and build confidence was paying off.
How: This is where I need help. Going to the conventionand and being able to participate is not cheap. And neither are the flights to LA. This is something I've always dreamed of myself doing, but I never thought I was going to be capable of doing it because of my shyness. Now that I've conquered it, I can't wait to put myself out there, and any bit of help I can get will help me more than you may think.
