Legal Help for Justice

I am a victim of recent sexual assault.  We have now moved into the legal part of my recovery process.  I am blessed to have family and friends and law enforcement fighting for me and caring for me.  I must have legal representation going forward and the attorney I've chosen, with the blessing of the National Women's Law Center and the Me Too Movement, requires a retainer of $2,000.

As a single mom, my budget is as tight as possibly imaginable, even with a great job. My employer has been exemplary in providing support but this is beyond everything I have.

This is not about a monetary award.  It is about justice, and making sure this person can not abuse anyone else.
