Tracy's Medical Fund

My gorgeous sister, Tracy Scott, went out for Halloween, and ended up in the hospital with a broken shoulder and broken ankle. Please donate to our campaign to raise $2,500 to cover her rent for December and January - while her body heals.

The incident happened outside of Berlin Nightclub in Boystown, Chicago. The man who attacked her was dressed like a woman for Halloween, so the bouncers watched and laughed as everything unfolded—as he head-butted one of my sister’s friends, smashed my niece in the chest, followed them outside and...  Tracy says he was drunk and high on some street drugs. I don’t know but he follwed them outside. He pushed her down and stomped on her. He stomped on her so much and with such force that she can’t walk. And may never be able to walk in heels again. If you think, perhaps, maybe she was on drugs or drunk as well, you’re wrong. My sister doesn’t drink. She never has. And she has never done drugs. She was out because Halloween is her birthday. We’d of course, be thrilled to raise enough money to offer a reward to catch the guy who did this, and to help pay hospital bills and for medicine not covered by insurance. But the priority is to just pay her rent for December and January while she heals.

Her treatment includes an assisted living facility while she heals, major surgery once her shoulder is stable, and rehabilitation.

Other ways to help include helping the police catch who did this. If you know anyone who was at Berlin Nightclub in Chicago on Halloween night, please ask if they took photos or video of the attack. If you manage a restaurant in Chicago (Westmont) that delivers food, my sister can't stand up long enough to cook anything beyond microwaving. If you have an Amazon Prime account that you can share, so she can stream movies.

We understand so many terrible things happen in the U.S. and around the world everyday. And you can't support everyone's fundraising campaign. But please, please consider helping my sister. Thank you.
