Hello World Community!
We are a band from Marshalltown, Iowa, USA. We have been fortunate enough to travel the world playing and recording music since 2002.
As a band we have never asked for donations of any kind, until now.
Our hometown was hit by a devastating tornado on July 19th, 2018 and hundreds of homes and businesses were badly damaged, and in some cases, completely destroyed. We come to you now and ask you to donate any amount you can to benefit the lives of the members of our community most affected by this natural disaster.
100% of proceeds of this campaign will go directly to Mid-Iowa Community Action. MICA is a trusted local organization with a track record of directly helping members of the community who need it the most. We would love to see all of our fans and supporters donate to this campaign. No amount is too small or large.
Even if you are not in a position to donate, we ask you to share this campaign with everyone you know.
This campaign is not about our band, the band is simply a platform to spread the word. This campaign is about people helping people in the spirit of community and human kindness. We understand that there are many causes that seek your attention and support and that can become exhausting and overwhelming. We can assure you that this request carries no strings attached and no hidden agendas.
FEMA recently denied the request for assistance and so we must look to other means to get our community back on it’s feet. Even for those fortunate enough to have insurance, it often does not cover all necessities.
We would love to see people all over the world donate to this campaign and go far beyond our modest goal. A new roof is very expensive and we are missing far too many! Thank you for your time and consideration.
