Escuela Caracol - Guatemala

Hi Everyone, My name is Ruth and I am an early childhood teacher-in training. I met my amazing friend Coleen at our teacher training and when she begn to tell me about the school where she works, I was amazed and decided to create this camapign to see if we could all pitch in and help with the school's financing.
Escuela caracol gets most of its funding from American and European donors, hence they are able to have most of the students attend the school without asking for a large financial contribution, as the school is in a modest place in Guatemala this allows the children to learn and play in an environment full of love and to also have all three meals at the school which is often very helpful to all the families in the community.
I am of the belief that it takes a village to raise a child and all of the people who work here do it with an abundance of warmth and caring. Please help us meet the food budget for this school and even surprise them with a way to carry forward for many years to come....
