Dear all,
In mid November 2015 we were presented with the devastating news that our 12 year old boy Jacob was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeliod Leukaemia). This is a very aggressive type of blood cancer which requires intensive Chemotherapy treatment and a list of many other medications. We now know that he will also need a bone marrow transplant. During this treatment he requires hospitalisation for undefined period of time and will be very ill.
We have been trying to be by his side during his cancer battle alternating between work and hospital on partial day rosters where I work mornings and then change over with my wife when then she attends work for a few hours in the afternoons.
We are thankful that our family,freinds and our employers have been very kind in providing us with ongoing support for which we are very grateful.
We pray that Jacob will get through this by the end of this year.
Please help us pray that Jacob gets through this and that he will be cured.
