Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre

Our goal this season is to involve more children in the Phoenix area that could benefit emotionally, physically and mentally from participating in our production. From dancing on stage to observing lighting design, it is our mission to give back to children in need of inspiration.
Our Spring Ballet requires costume and full-set rentals totalling $15, 000.
We involve over 70 dancers and gymnasts each year ages 3-18yrs with a variety of ability levels for our annual Nutcracker. Our advanced dancers get the opportunity to dance with professional and semi-professional male dancers for pas de deux roles such as Clara, Snow Queen, Sugar Plum Fairy and Dewdrop.
We use these funds to offset costs for all dancers in the Phoenix area that want to participate in our civic youth ballet company, Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre.
I, Samantha Gobeille, Director of Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre, am personally asking on behalf of my dancers for your kind donation.
Our goal is to keep our productions alive for year's to come and we need the support of our friends and family to make that happen! www.phoenixyouthballet.org.
We fund raise for costumes we can use year after year, however, each year some need to be replaced or repaired. Dancers do not need to purchase the costumes, these are lent to them for the performances. Some dancers will wear several tutus during the performances that total over $800 for roles such as Sugar Plum Fairy, Snowflakes, Waltz of the Flowers and Marzipan.
Our $10,000 goal will cover our:
-Student scholarships for training and rehearsals
-Theater Rental Costs
-Renting backdrops and new scenery to use each year
-Replacement costumes
Fundraising helps manage our production costs so the dancers can participate without a hefty participation fee. Many dancers already spend $300 on pointe shoes over the duration of rehearsals and performances. Our goal is to allow families to be a part of this production with as little cost to the dancer as possible so we can share the love of dance and the joy of The Nutcracker each season!
