PWA Archives Preservation Project

The Polish Women's Alliance of America Archives Preservation Project is  a joint effort of PWA and the Women & Leadership Archives (WLA) located at Loyola University in Chicago.  Throughout the years, numerous documents, photos, memorabilia, etc. have been donated to the WLA, representative of the important contributions of time, money, determination and sheer willpower of many generations of officers and members throughout the U.S. and spanning the 119 years since our founding in 1898. The time has now come to take the next step in preserving and digitalizing these important records so that they may be viewed, researched and enjoyed by many generations to come. The work of these dedicated women had a positive impact both on the national and international levels that goes far beyond the Polish and Polish/American experience.
The estimated total cost of the Project is $ 34,000 and preservation and scanning will be done in phases, as funding targets are reached.
Your donation is fully tax deductible as it goes directly to Loyola University/WLA for the benefit of the PWA Project.
No amount is too modest and will be dedicated  directly to cover the costs of properly preserving our history.

Thank You for your kind consideration.
