Emmet is struggling to live

Donation protected
Emmet was found in a remote area, sick and emaciated.  He was taken to a shelter and the shelter called us.  Emmet couldn't even stand and we weren't sure he would make it to the Vet.  We picked him up and rushed him there.  After a thorough examination it was determined that he has erlichia, a tick born disease, his white blood cell count was off the charts, he is anemic and  has no platelets. It was suggested that we put our money into healthier pugs.  I suppose that would make sense to most but not to us and our wonderful pug supporters and friends.  When a pug needs us we will stop at nothing to save their life as long as they are not suffering.  Emmet wants to live and is fighting to stick around.  He is on fluids, large amounts of strong antibiotics and is being monitored closely. If we can't get his numbers up, he will need a transfusion. As you can imagine bills are already mounting and as much as I hate asking for help there is no way he can survive without you, our supporters.  Please consider a donation to help Emmet live.  No amount is too small and we thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Pug people are the best! Please offer up some prayers and donate if you can for this sweet old man.  As always if we  receive more funds than needed for Emmet they will be applied to our staggering vet bill so we can continue to save those that need us most.
