PSP-SL

Tax deductible
PSP-SL (Purdue Space Program - Student Launch) is participating in NASA’s annual Student Launch competition. The competition entails building a rocket that meets a series of design constraints selected by NASA. PSP-SL reports to a board of NASA engineers on a regular basis to assess the status of the project through multiple professional design reviews. In April of 2019, the team will travel to Huntsville, Alabama to compete their rocket with other universities for various best in house awards. Additionally, the team must meet educational engagement and outreach quota. These quota are met by holding activities for non-members to help them learn more about hobby rocketry, and space in general! This year PSP-SL has 25 dedicated members across multiple engineering, managerial, and social teams.

Donations will go towards helping fund purchasing parts for our full-scale rocket, as well as assisting with travel expenses. Getting the whole team out to Huntsville to participate firsthand in the competition is our goal.
