It is extremely uncommon for myself to ask for any sort of charity. However, dire situations call for dire circumstances.
On the afternoon of February 6th, my Mother returned home from a routine grocery trip to find her home (in which she inherited from my Grandmother) engulfed in flames. Within seconds, the flames spread from the kitchen to the entire house.
The Las Vegas Fire Department investigator determined that the cause of the fire initiated from the refrigerator, or so it seemed.
It took a matter of 10 minutes to watch everything they own disappear. Everything from clothes and birth certificates, to sentimental items and furniture. My Parents literally lost it all, the fire sparing only the clothes on their backs. In their 50's, they will need to rebuild their entire life.
I know a majority of you have met my Parents somewhere down the line, they have been there for me and I'm just trying to reciprocate.
