It is with much sadness that Christine (Morgan’s mum) advises that the Keytruda therapy unfortunately was not successful on the Melanoma and sadly, Morgan passed away on the morning of Thursday 19 October 2017, at the Hibiscus Hospice, Whangaparaoa, New Zealand.
To all of you who have donated to this fund, to try and help Brian and Valkan (Puki) to get to New Zealand to be with Morgan, I thank you so much. All the funds that have been raised will now be put in to an account to assist with the costs incurred during Morgan’s illness and funeral expenses.
To everybody who has provided any support to Christine, Morgan, Brian and Puki, and Philip during the past 11 months, through Morgan’s illness and subsequent passing, there are no words to express our gratitude.

ORIGINAL STORY:
For the past 11 years Morgan Jackson has battled with reoccurring Melanoma. In May Morgan under went surgery to remove Stage 4 Melanoma from her Liver. With the grace of god the surgery was a success. Cancer free!! But as we all know with this horrible disease, it can come back at any point.
So, here we are not even 3 full months later faced with the unbearable news that it has returned. Morgan will be commencing Keytruda therapy next week. As you can imagine this is not only a scary time for her, but also her family.
Morgan her husband Brian and their 3 year old son Valkan (Puki) currently live in America. With the cost of treatment in America being so high, Morgan has had to leave her little family behind and move in with her Dad in New Zealand for this much needed treatment. As we all know, family is most important at the best of times, let alone when we are once again fighting a horrible disease like Melanoma.
I have created this Fund to help bring Morgans family to her in New Zealand, where they need to be at this extremely difficult time.
