Puerto Rico Christmas Project is partnering with Calvary Chapel Puerto Rico who has been at the for front of relief distribution in Puerto Rico. Our desire is to provide a bit of joy to the children in Puerto Rico through the giving of Christmas shoe boxes full of toys, school supplies and hygiene items.
Our goal is to provide enough boxes to distribute to a local orphanage as well as to some local low income communities with which Calvary Chapel Puerto Rico has a working relationship. However, the staff at Calvary Chapel Puerto Rico have said that every day they are meeting more and more families who have lost everything: home, furniture, clothes, etc.
We would love if you would consider partnering with us to package and distribute as many boxes as we can!
This GoFundMe page is designed to facilitate donations from around the globe that will go towards the filling, packaging and shipping of these boxes.
Our hope is to recieve as many donations as possible to get the boxes done by the month of December. Once boxes are packaged, we will ship them to Calvary Chapel Puerto Rico for distribution.
Throughout this process we are determined to keep you updated on our progress and provide you with updates after the distribution.
Many families are struggling to get basic necessities. Christmas is going to look very different this year. Our desire is to provide joy and bless these communities, assuring them that they are not alone and that God sees them and loves them! Especially the little children!
As a doner, we would love to connect you to your box. Please contact us if you would like us to place a photo of you/your family in a box that you donated for. You may also choose to have us add a special note to the child who will recieve your box.
