Pucci Family's Medical Fund

Rick & Alana Pucci's 13 year old son, Kaeden, is in end-stage kidney failure. Many people on the Central Coast know Rick from his farrier business, or know Alana because she is a high school Ag teacher. Rick's family owns the Avila Valley Barn, a long time fixture of fun for our families in the community. 
Now Rick & Alana need our help. Having raised Kaeden here in SLO county with their extended family close at hand, Kaeden has persevered with his kidney issues his entire life, and has become an ambitious, intelligent, hard-working young man who enjoys surfing, playing the guitar & video games like any other boy his age. 
On May 1st Kaeden will receive a new kidney. The donor who has selflessly stepped forward to gift Kaeden a second chance at life is none other than his very own very brave mom, Alana Pucci. 
On April 30th, Kaeden & Alana will travel to Stanford Medical Center's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. They will both need to stay in Palo Alto for 8 weeks to have surgery & recover. 
This surgery will allow Kaeden to have a normal & long life. He will be able to be active, healthy, go to college, raise a family, but most importantly, just be a teenaged boy. This surgery will be a priceless gift not only to him, but to his entire family. 
The Pucci family, meanwhile, faces the daunting costs of medical bills, travel,  hotel stays, & loss of income.  A group of friends & family members wants to decrease the worry of financial burdens at this time, so the family can come together & focus on the most important matter at hand: healing.
