Publishing My Wellness Book

I thought I would start by introducing myself. I'm Jodie and I'm 29 years old. I've been suffering from PTSD since being 14 years old which has led me to live a very isolated life with many ups and downs, life has definitely thrown some challenging times at me. At the beginning of the year 2018, I had an emotional breakdown and I also developed health anxiety. The doctors all thought I was basically 'going mad' and so did my loved ones around me. I tried different medications and I just couldn't handle the side effects. I thought to myself, surely this can't be it for me? I'm only 29?  Have I actually lost the plot! So that's when I began researching how to heal myself naturally. I first started off by just taking a step back in my life and observing the world around me to work out where I was going wrong.

During the middle of the same year, I tragically lost my father and if you have lost someone close to you, you will know how devastating it is but with my PTSD, it really hit me hard. Around a month or so after, I carried on with my research and studying as I didn't want to be dying myself anytime soon and the thought of going on any medication long term wasn't sitting well with me. My father's passing inspired me to implement changes necessary in my life to live a longer and healthier life and I knew I had to beat this health anxiety.

Implementing these changes not only helped me with my phantom pains and physical symptoms, but they also helped me feel more connected to nature and peaceful inside. There are lots of amazing studies confirming that implementing these changes can reverse heart disease & diabetes, prevent cancer from growing and encourage fertility, among many other health benefits.

My passion for helping others along with my love for writing has given me the idea to create a 'book for life'. My mission is to help YOU become THE GREATEST VERSION OF YOURSELF by providing you with knowledge and awareness to achieve a more healthier and natural lifestyle.  I want this transition to be as easy and realistic as possible. The book will provide FULL awareness and knowledge of things we are already aware of but don't pay much attention to. It will be a step by step guide to transition and is suitable for EVERYONE. The book will cover everything we consume, things we absorb and things in our home.

My aim is to get the book published for AUGUST 2019.

I was inspired by my father and I want nothing more than to share my findings with the world and encourage wellness to everyone.
