A BRIEF INTRODUCTION…….
Wassup everyone…..I’m DeMO, a singer songwriter, recording artist out of Southern California. My partner, music producer, Teddy Bladde and I together are Merciless Muzik…a music production company.

Thanks for stopping by to check out our GoFundMe campaign. Let me give you a little background on what we’ve been doing. I released the Hot Chocolate Wax album with music producer, Eliot Waldhorn of e5music, several years ago. The highly acclaimed single, "City of Lost Angels", gained the attention of Carlos Santana, who personally called me to compliment me on the message and the music. Then Teddy and I worked together to follow it up with the Soul Power CD.

We took a hiatus from recording our own music to work with some other artists and do live performances. But we found ourselves itching to get back in the lab….back to our own music.

Throughout our careers, we have been blessed to have collaborated with a number of talented musicians and vocalists, both on our CD’s and in live performances. Now we are here to collaborate with YOU, long-time friends and new friends, on the most exciting project we have ever done.

We have always been independent artists, with no dictates or restrictions to the creative process. Previously, we have been in a position to either do it on our own or find ways to fund, record and release new music. Fans have always been the ones to support and appreciate our vision, so using Gofundme and giving our fans the opportunity to be a part of the process just feels right. We see Gofundme as a home for creative minds and a wonderful platform where people who believe, respect and see the vision, can support an idea and make it a reality.

OUR PROJECT…..
This new album, titled SoulShowMedia, showcases my signature sound…..B-Boy Soul….a fusion of Soul, R&B, Jazz, Funk, Blues, Rock, Reggae, and Gospel. We believe our music appeals to and unites all ages.......from the 20 something’s to the 60 something’s. We feel that B-Boy Soul is the voice of the next generation of music.

SoulShowMedia is a very special album to us, and a labor of love on our parts. We have collaborated with a fantastic cast of artists, who have been gracious to bless us with their talents.

Long Beach native, BIGKRUNCH, rapper, video director and owner of Hardwork Enterprise

Matt Laugh, drummer who has played with Alice Cooper, Slash’s Snakepit, and on Alanis Morissette’s album, Jagged Little Pill
JJ Sansaverino, guitarist for Maxi Priest band and national recording artist
Relm Diggie, a rapper out of Columbus, Ohio, best known for his Veterans Memorial album, and most recently the artist for the end domestic violence organization, No More, "Happy Birthday" video

Tak Nakazawa, soul guitarist, from LA by way of Japan and Atlanta
Spitfiya, Compton-bred rapper, grammy nominated writer, best known for his work with Timbaland, Flo-Rida, and B.O.B.

Craig Chestnut, drummer extraordinaire, who has toured with Stevie Wonder
In addition to these fine musicians, we have also formed some trusted business partnerships along the way. Two in particular - Jason Clark of Jason Clark Foto who does all our creative and graphic design and photo shoots; and Heath Scarinci's company, Impression Design......they are responsible for our website design and maintenance, and all of our merchandise.

FUNDING PURPOSE…..
We have all the songs recorded and mixed. We are crowdfunding to pay for:
 Mastering all the songs
 Graphic design and artwork for the CD cover and pages
 Marketing and promotion (HUGE EXPENSES!), including Publicist, booking agent and all associated performance expenses (for gigs), radio exposure, social media campaigns, mailings
 Video shoots
 CD duplication
 Rewards for our backers
 Distribution….and everything else

We have a great, loyal, supportive local fan base. We want and need to expand our audience. Your support will allow us to realize our vision and bring this music to the world. We literally cannot do it without you.
