Fernando's Wish List

Fernando is a 16 year old junior at Coosa High School in Rome, Ga.  He was diagnosed with cancer in the 6th grade,  His left leg had to be amputated during that year.  The cancer then spread to his lungs and he had to have surgery to remove a tumor during his 9th grade year.  He broke his arm in the summer of 2015 and then realized he had a tumor in his upper arm that caused the break.  His left arm was amputated in October of 2015.  On Wednesday February 24th, 2016, Fernando got the news that his cancer had spread to his left lung.  He already knew this within his own heart for the past month but the Dr gave him the final confirmation on that day.  Fernando had pondered how he would proceed.  He has said that he has fought his last battle with the foe called cancer and has asked all of us to support him in his decision.  I am one of his teachers who is supporting this decision and trying to fulfill his final wishes as well as fund his final expenses.  The money raised thru this fund will allow him to travel to Florida as well as fulfilling his other final wishes in the last 3-6 months of his precious life.  He would love the opportunity to meet Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as well as Ellen Degeneres.  I am asking you to please support this brave young man as he makes his final impact on the world around him!!
