Protect the Michindoh Aquifer

Tax deductible
A corporation,  Artesian of Pioneer,  is planning to drill multiple wells into the Michindoh Aquifer and sell water to communities located outside the aquifer. These communities already have access to Lake Erie’s water.

The Michindoh Aquifer is the sole source of drinking water for all the communities in Williams County OH and parts of Michigan and Indiana. If we lose it to pollution or depletion, we have no other economically feasible source of drinking water!

Once a pipeline to extract and sell the water to entities outside the aquifer is built, there will be no turning back. Rather than a business selling our drinking water for profit, we should conserve the aquifer for future generations.

Your donations will fund yard signs, informational materials, outreach to the public and the search for strategies to stop this proposal.

All donations will be much appreciated and put to good use in the struggle to protect the Michindoh Aquifer for current and future generations.

The Williams County Alliance is a  501c3 non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to promoting a sustainable future through education and citizen action.  All donations are tax deductible.
