John Mathews Medical Expenses

This GoFundMe page is for my father, John Mathews, who was just recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. My father is the most positive man I have ever met in my life, and I know he will be able to beat the cancer! He loves the outdoors, hiking, biking, and sailing! He works hard to give my mother, sister, and I everything and more in life, and I could not thank him more for that. I feel like most can agree that he leaves a lasting impact on every person he meets by his unique, funny sayings. If you ask him how he's doing he is ALWAYS, "Super, Great, Fantastic, Phenomenal, Incredible, Tremendous. You can probably feel the Enthusiasm, the Excitement, the Motivation, just kinda like radiating off my body. But really, truly, enough about me, how are you?" The medical expenses are totaling up to be about $25,000 for the procedure, which is far more than what our family can afford. This procedure is also, unfortunately, not covered by the insurance company. It has just been developed in about the last decade and just recently approved in the United States. My cousin, Katie Bouch, and I decided to put together a Benefit Dinner and this GoFundMe page in my father's honor.  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATE TOWARD MY FATHER'S CAUSE.
