Promoting Cleantech Initiatives
As you can see this GoFundMe Campaign was created 6 months ago but I was in two minds about actively promoting it. I decided now that I have nothing to lose so thought what the hell just do it.
I would like to concentrate all my time to promote Cleantech projects and initiatives. I collect curated stories for Cleantech/Climate Change & Global Warming/Environment that I post on my blog and to my Steemit profile. I post these on Facebook and tweet to my +196 Twitter followers. I want to do these on a daily basis and have people contribute stories that they would like to see in the digests.
This takes time and effort which I have been doing for free and from goodwill. Now I would like to make this my life's work and would appreciate any financial assistance that cover just my monthly living expensive and to cover costs associated with the work.
For every €1 I receive I pledge to give at least €0.30 to #PuertoRicoRelief and other disaster relief efforts in the future. Any extra money I collect each month I will donate to Environment/Cleantech Initiatives.
You can check my Blog for alternate ways you can donate.
Thank you for taking time to consider this.
I am thinking it would be smarter to actually donate another way because GoFundMe wants their cut which I understand, but I would rather donate 100% to you. I almost made a donation here but I will do it another way. Sorry GFM.
I am not allowed to have alternate payments on the GoFundMe Campaign. They are on my Blog.
Thanks for your comments Frederick. I created 6 months ago but I was in two minds about actively promoting it. I decided now that I have nothing to lose so thought what the hell just do it. I added other ways to donate as well e.g. Bitcoin, Paypal, TransferWise and Wave Tokens.
I had this exact question, "Can my international friends donate to my campaign? Yes, they certainly can. Friends and family can donate to your campaign from all over the world using a major credit or debit card. When they make their donation, they'll be given the option to select their country. This will generate the appropriate State/Country/etc. options for their credit card information. Important: Your donations will always come to you in your campaign's currency. Your donor's bank will automatically convert their payment into the currency they use, and charge them the appropriate amount. We do not charge any conversion fees, but your donors may want to check with their bank to see if they charge a currency conversion fee."
@ColinSydes you have had this GoFundMe page for 6 months and I am just now hearing about it. I am not sure how it works with the different currencies, but I get paid on the 3rd and I will make a contribution. Thanks for the Task and I will earn that Superior Coin, I promise! #Stradog in @GunBarrelCityTexas
