Habitat for Humanity has always thrived because of the generosity of this community. To continue thriving the next step is to get here 422 N Vermilion St, the future home of the ReStore, which is a bigger better retail space all on one level.
But we have a problem
Someone stole almost every power tool that Habitat owns.
Please consider being part of the solution. Danville, IL faces struggles every day of the year. We at Habitat aren't exempt from that, we recently had almost all of our power tools stolen. This is a huge set back to this project, but will you please consider being part of the solution.
UPDATE FOR TOOLS - The Police recovered 70-80% of our tools!!
We have had some great partners step up with wonderful gifts towards this move already.
Vermilion County Heathcare Foundations has donated towards this project.
Watch Fire Signs has donated towards this project.
Second Church of Christ provided $2,500 towards this project.
WCIA TV organized a "Day of Giving" in November that helped raise over $5,000.
Ceaders Collison donated $25,000 towards the cost of the real estate.
The Repurpose Auction by Habitat for Humanity of Danville raised over $4,000.
Iroqouis Federal Foundation Inc. donated $10,000 towards the cost of the Sprinklers.
Danville Elks provided $500 towards this project.
You can help make the difference to push us over the top to get our ReStore into a bigger better retail space all on one level. We have the building but it still needs a lot of work.
