Our Inspiration
These kids!  Fearless, tough, driven and inspirational.  With each student I meet, I tell them to always remember to never stop planning for their future. Learning through virtual reality programs allows them to do just that.

Our Story
In 2015, I began providing online and virtual reality education programs for children in New Jersey hospitalized due to cancer treatment. The virtual reality component of this project allows children to partake in virtual field trips as well as participate in interactive lessons from multiple disciplines. Virtual Reality goggles such as Google Cardboard and Samsung VR allows children to leave their hospital setting and travel both nationally and internationally to various tourist sites, as well as under the sea and to the moon.

Today you can find Project Min at:
Hackensack University Medical Center
Monmouth Medical Center (Summer 2017)

Why We Need You:
The National Cancer Institute estimates that 15,780 children (aged 0-19) are diagnosed with cancer each year. About 1 in 285 children in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer prior to their 20th birthday. Many of these children spend countless hours in admitted to the hospital or visiting for treatment.

Who Benefits
We’d love to say all donations are created equal but the reality is every dollar drives a different goal, a different benefit and a different opportunity.  Your dollar can truly make a world of difference by transporting a child to another world.  Allowing them to have the things that cancer tries to steal: normalcy, freedom and magic.

In-Patient and Out-Patient Adventures
Google Expeditions is a program that is done with just one child at a time or a group of children. Children participating in this adventure are each provided with a virtual reality headset. All headsets need a smartphone attached in order for them to work. Using a tablet, the leader of the activity will introduce children to different worlds and scenes. Many of these adventures provide educational lessons and can be tailored to a child’s specific curriculum.
Samsung VR is an individual experience. It requires a VR headset as well as a Samsung phone. Children are able to solve mysteries, learn foreign languages, swim with sharks, and travel to distant lands. This adventure allows children to make choices and choose the direction they want to travel.
So who benefits?  Everyone.
