Project Homeless Connect Bellingham

Project Homeless Connect - Bellingham (PHC) has been part of the local plan to end homelessness since 2009.  This year’s PHC event is held on July 19th and provides a wide range of free services with respectful and generous hospitality for people in Whatcom County experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis.

Our GoFundMe funding target of $6,500 is specifically held for purchasing and increasing the availability of high-need items. These items are held in the ‘Invitation Room’ at the event and are distributed to guests.  Some of the items in the largest demand are:

- Tents
- Sleeping bags
- Tarps
- Backpacks

Last year, 39% of our 500 PHC guests reported that they were unsheltered.  The increased access to emergency supplies in 2019 will represent a major benefit for these guests.  At the same time, GoFundMe participation will help us include you and other community members who may be new to PHC or simply not available to volunteer at the event on July 19th.  We need and welcome your involvement!
