Project Find Bubba

Bubba is an adorable and friendly African Sulcata Tortoise who currently lives at Rancho El Chorro Outdoor School in San Luis Obispo. Sadly, he escaped from his enclosure a few weeks ago. After scouring the campus for him, he is still missing. We are enlisting the help of an ecological consulting firm that has Dog Search & Rescue in the hopes that a dog's scent skills will help us locate him on the property or on adjacent properties. The consultation costs $2000, exceeding the school's animal care budget. He is so much more than just an animal or pet and we want to do everything we can to find Bubba and make sure he is safe.
