Cliff Rudzki

Just over 4 years ago, little Marek Rudzki was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer (choroid plexus carcinoma).  Marek inspired us all through his courageous fight which included extensive brain surgery along with multiple treatments in Iowa as well as St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.   Many of our prayers were answered as Marek is doing extremely well and continues to inspire us each and every day, along with his amazing parents Cliff and Nikki, and younger brother Truman!

 
Given their family medical history, Cliff began receiving screenings 3 years ago.  Unfortunately during his most recent MRI screening, a tumor was revealed in Cliff's brain.   Not much will be known about the tumor or diagnosis until after numerous tests, but Cliff will go in for surgery on Monday (10/15) to have the tumor removed.  Dr. Saul Wilson, the same world-renowned surgeon who operated on Marek a few years ago will operate on Cliff.  After the surgery, Cliff will remain in the hospital for several days while he recovers.


The Rudzki family has always and will continue to greatly appreciate all your positive thoughts, well wishes, and prayers during this tough time.   In addition to that support, this page was setup by friends of the Rudzki family to raise awareness and also help support the family financially as there will be medical bills, time away from work, transportation and meal needs, and numerous other unforeseen expenses.  Please use this page if you wish to support them financially.  All money raised will go directly to the family, and you can choose to remain anonymous if you choose to donate.  The Rudzkis are an amazing and inspirational family, please pray for them during this difficult time.
