Prayers for Ian

So Many wonderful people have offered overwhelming support! We know there is a long road ahead of the Mitchell Family with hospital bills, co-pays, deducatables, and therapy. We set up this account for all those that have offered their support. More than anything prayers are what Ian needs! Thank you to everyone who has reached out to support!

"Ian is a special kid and has lots of people that love him that may not know, he had a go kart accident on Sunday. It has been a long few days but he is ok. He has some spots of blood in the fluids around the brain. The neurosurgeon isn't overly concerned right now but watching closely. The main concern right now is a dissected carotid artey in his neck. They are watching this closely for clots (there is one there currently so the concern is the clots breaking off in the blood flow to the brain). He also has some ligament damage in the neck and possibly some small spinal issues. We are waiting to speak with the spine doc about these for more info. He also has some stitches in his foot and neck. All this sounds very scary but he is stable and doing OK, struggling with some pain but this kid is a trooper!!! I'm amazed at his strength! We appreciate everyone's call, texts, thoughts and prayers. We are surrounded by AMAZING family and friends and can't say thank you enough. And yes he was wearing a helmet, had he not been this could have been a very different situation."
