Prayers for Kelly

Kelly is the wife of Pastor Doug at Living Word Church in Nesconset, New York, and mother to three wonderful, fun, and kind kids. In the church, Kelly is a counselor, captivating speaker, and leads the women's ministry at Living Word. Her ability to reach out to other women, encourage them, and be a safe place has made a huge impact to our community. Kelly has had health issues in the past, but through it all she has still been a light in the lives of others and in the church. Her fighting spirit has inspired so many in our church and many others.

Kelly has been in the hospital since early February, and doctors are having a difficult time figuring out a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. Kelly is currently unable to stand up without her heart rate speeding up and blacking out. They have clinically diagnosed her with something called Autonomic Guillian Barre and have been giving her plasma treatment. She has been having difficulty with eating and sleeping and is malnourished and sleep deprived.

Doug and Kelly have met with cardiologists, neurologists, rheumatologists, countless hospital doctors, and are currently looking to transfer her to a hospital in the city. (She must be transfered via ambulance due to blacking out)


As members of the church, we would like to help our amazing leadership and raise money for their expenses! Hospital stays, ambulances and driving back and forth between home and hospital is costly, especially on top of day to day expenses. We hope to bring light to the season she is in now and cover bills, both large and small, for them in this time!
