Josh was in a horrible ATV accident Tuesday evening April 18th. Despite wearing a helmet, he sustained some life threatening injuries. He was airlifted to Albany Medical Center and has a fractured neck injury, fractured skull, and 3 fractured ribs. He has recently been taken off the ventilator and is breathing on his own. He is a single father to 2 beautiful girls and has a long road of recovery. Josh needs support and donations to continue to support his 2 children and to pay for medical expenses.

This guy is so tough, he is feeling so much better and looks like he is feeling better compared to the first nights in Albany med, just got the medical bills for just the trip to Albany med following the terrible ATV accident totaling in at $6500 (just the helicopter ride), still trying to raise $4200 to replace his hearing aids, any donation will continue to help, but Josh is doing great at rehab!

Josh is now at Sunnyside rehab, he recently got the staples out of his head, is able to use the restroom more independently and is walking with a cane. He will need to continue wearing the neck brace at this time. Doctor cannot believe how strong and motivated he is!!

Saw Josh last night and he was doing better, most likely getting the feeding tube removed today as long as he could ingest some liquid calories. He will be going to rehabilitation for some time. Will update everyone as I know more. He is very emotional as people are describing the accident and informing him how scared they were! He is anxious to see everyone, so if you have time please stop by Albany Medical to visit him!

Josh continues to struggle with irritability from all the medication he is on and with communication. Josh's inner hearing aids were damaged and cannot be fixed from the head trauma and accident. We just found out that they will cost $4200 to be replaced. I am asking anyone who has not donated to please help, even $5 will go a long way to help my brother in law during this difficult time. If you cannot donate money please share this on your Facebook page. Anything will help given that he will have a lengthy recovery, inability to work for a long time, has bills, medical bills, and now needs his hearing aids replaced in order to communicate!
