Hello!
Welcome to the Go Fund Me page for Practically Theatre. Thank you for taking the time to visit.
We are back to raising funds for this years show 'Boxes', which will be toured around Yorkshire this May- August. 'Boxes' is a devised theatre piece exploring what we can create from simple materials. We investigate what it means to be 'put in a box', what we can build from boxes, and the sounds, movements and stories they inspire.
Funds will be spent on travel, costume, set, props and marketing, and will help us to create a generally awesome show! Due to the nature of our performances many of them are FREE, so any donations help us cover the cost of putting on a show.
Practically Theatre works with people with learning difficulties and disabilities to create theatre. The core drama group has devised this performance.
We thank you for your support, and hope to see you at one of our shows!
Tour dates are:
(TBC) Wednesday 17th May- York St. John University- Co-Create Festival
Wednesday 31st May- Armley Mills- Café Performance
Wednesday 7th June- Kirk Deighton Village Hall- Fundraiser Performance
(TBC) Saturday 24th June- Leeds- Learning Disability Week
(TBC) Tuesday 8th August- Sheffield- Special Olympics Opening ceremony
