We Need Your Help!
Pozitively Fabulous is a retreat for sober people living with HIV/AIDS. Now in its’ 5th year, the retreat is a 4 day/3 night event with a variety of planned activities, including workshops, speakers, meetings, entertainment, plus leisure time. This year’s event, which will take place at St. Dorothy’s Rest in northern California from April 20th-23rd, is almost sold out!
As someone whose life has been impacted by HIV and addiction, and also someone who has attended the retreat every year since the first was held in Georgia, I can attest to the wonderful experience one can have at this special event! For these reasons, our committee would like to ask for your help in making sure the retreat can fulfill the scholarships we have awarded this year, and to be sure the reatreat can continue to take place for years to come. This will help to ensure you, me and others have the opportunity to attend!
A fundraising goal the committee has this year is to raise money needed to help fund 15 scholarships, and for the down payment necessary to reserve retreat space for the 2018 event. Our total fundraising goal for this year is $5,000.
We ask that you please donate as you are able. If you have already done so, we truly appreciate it!
For each person that donates $50 or more, we will send you a PozFab 2017 t-shirt for our appreciation!
