Desperate For An Operation

In 2011 I had an emergency c-section & the baby belly never went down! I was advised this was a unfortunate issue a few people get & that I would require surgery (abdominoplasti) to fix it! NHS refuse to pay as my requirements for my muscles to be sewn up are just slightly under the criteria (my core muscles were split during pregnancy but the split was just under the requirement)! The tummy part was considered as cosmetic surgery & no funding available for 'non essential' operations in my area! I have appealed 3 times to the NHS to no avail! I was told nothing will make difference & I have spent almost 5 years exercising at least 5 times a week, I have dieted & lost weight yet the tummy has hardly improved! I have even been classed as underweight yet I still have a big bulging stomach! I now track everything that I eat & drink, I count calories, I take supplements, I make sure my macros (fat, carbs & protein) are at the right levels - I even drink over 3 litres of water a day!

This has had a major effect on my life - from day to day activity and mental health! When having flu jabs the nurses congratulate me on being pregnant, supermarket staff ask my son if he's looking forward to being a big brother, lifeguards advised me not to use spa pool as I'm pregnant - needless to say these are situations I now try to avoid! Winter is easier - big coats hide most of it! Clothes shopping is a nightmare - I'm between a size 6/8 but buying trousers/skirts etc never ends well! I've lost count of the amount of times I've come home empty handed & very deflated! Exercising has helped me lose weight, tone up & improve my fitness however that's had its own issues with a hip issue that degenerates with exercise & becoming more limited week by week by what I can do! I am at the end of my tether and really need your help!
