My name is Tiffany Malapanes, I am the creator of Positiffitea , a local tea company here in Chattanooga.

You might have met me around town, attended one of my community classes or yoga classes, bumped into my booth at the Sunday Market, or maybe you have seen my teas at a local business.

Today I am raising money to help rebuild and recover after a fire that burnt down my Tea Shop Thanksgiving night.

Positiffitea's Tea Shop Before the Fire

Everything that I have built over the last 5 years is gone.

The fire was unexpected in an old historic building in the south side of Chattanooga. Me as well as the other artists and small business owners in the building lost everything. As for how the fire started, it's still unknown.

Insurance denied Positiffitea claims because it was only liability coverage.

How your funds will be used:

Rebuild and Restock
To rebuild the commercial kitchen needed for production and growth of the business. Restock all ingredients needed for production to continue stocking current customers, start sales with new customers and open web sales back up. Buy needed equipment for markets and popup shows. Supply any other needed business expenses.

Positive Community Involvement
This funding will allow me to keep making delicious and organic herbal tea blends as well as to continue to teach community classes in health, wellness, and herbal medicine and also work with other local small businesses to inspire and grow a more connected community.

This fire has really taught me a lot and I feel like it's a universal kick in the butt to work hard and continue to live my dreams and pass on positivity.

As I rebuild Positiffitea I will be working to find ways to better connect, inspire, and help the community grow in a positive way.

I have realized if Positiffitea is going to survive, it needs help from the community.
