William F. Besnier, better known as Pop Pop, was loved by so many people. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the Marine Corps. and was not afraid to speak his mind and give his opinion, even if it wasn’t the popular opinion. He gave everything he had to anyone who needed help. Pops wanted to live life to the fullest and wanted those around him to do the same. He believed that if it didn’t make you happy, it wasn’t worth it.
Pop Pop had stage 5 renal failure and was a quintuple bypass patient. Not only that, but he also had many other health issues. Fortunately, he passed peacefully in his sleep in his own bed. His wife has MS and is disabled. She is trying to have him laid to rest the way he wanted to be but is really struggling financially, as well as emotionally.
Even in both of their conditions, Pop Pop and his wife gave and continue to give everything they have to those in need around them. They both did so much for so many people. It is time to give back and show them gratitude. Any and all help would be more than greatly appreciated in this very rough time. Thank you for your love, kindness, and support.
