Polka Dot Cow/UofM Big Sky Aphasia Program

We need your help, please!!!   Marnie and Becky Forbis have experienced a huge setback in getting their soft-serve ice cream and Dole whip business, The Polka Dot Cow, up and running.  Their brand new Generac generator, with only 3.5 hours of run time on it, completely blew up.  The authorized repairman said the motor is completely dead, but Generac is refusing to replace it or refund their money due to their assertion that the warranty is void due to how they were intending to use it.

While the fight with Generac continues, the business is unable to open without a working generator.  The Polka Dot Cow is already two weeks behind in their business plan of being open to the public, and they have upcoming commitments at special events around the Flathead Valley that they were counting on for revenue.

This business model is special, in that portions of their proceeds will create and maintain the Bonnie Kraut Memorial Aphasia Fund at the University of Montana's Big Sky Aphasia program.  This fund will help people suffering from aphasia as a result of a traumatic brain injury or stroke.  Becky herself is a stroke survivor and graduate of the aphasia program, so her passion is to continue to help others regain their lives through this beneficial program.

Come on, friends, let's get The Polka Dot Cow up and running ASAP so that we can all enjoy yummy soft-serve and Dole whip while giving back to our community!  Marnie and Becky have put so much blood, sweat, tears and money into this project, and we don't want to see the dream die due to Generac's failure to stand behind their product!!

Thank you so much!
