PGP gets filthy at Pokémon GO Fest!

Trainers new and old, serious and casual, red, yellow, or blue; we need YOUR help! We are calling out to our AMAZING community to make sure that we are LIVE at the upcoming Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago. The hosts want to make sure that the Pokémon GO Podcast is there to stand for YOU and to ensure that you are getting all of the up to the minute information and experiences, as they happen. We LOVE that Niantic is finally starting to GO live with their events, but we were all caught a little off guard, by this first one and we need the COMMUNITY’S help to make sure that PGP is there, representing YOU. Joe and Brian will not able to make it, due to travel, training, and challenges in other regions; meaning it’s up to Charles to give you the down and dirty “Filthy Casual” eye view of the 2017 Pokémon GO Festival in Chicago, IL. We hope to get Charles there so that he can meet and train with as many of YOU as possible!
If you know anything about Charles, you know that he WILL live-cast as many of his experiences as possible; what he sees, he will report and share. Whether it’s video, audio, or text based Charles will keep the information flowing and ensure that EVERYONE is getting as much information and as many experiences as he can provide; be assured that those who donate will get an extra helping of exclusive digital content, for donating.
To ensure that the community we have ALL been building has a front row, street level view of this event, as it happens, we need to arrange travel, admission, and lodging for Charles. None of which is cheap, but we’re not about to arrange four star accommodations, either. We’re going to book his flights as early as possible to reduce those costs and working to do something similar with the host hotels. We want to ensure that Charles is as close to the heart of the event, for as long as possible to give all of YOU more access to information, virtual admission, and hopefully Niantic representatives and developers.
We know that the $1000 goal seems like a lot, but we assure you that we’re trying to keep costs low to ensure that any unused funds can be turned into event SWAG to be acquired and distributed to all of those who donated and made the trip possible. Of course, we only ask that you give what you can and know that this COMMUNITY is great, and only possible, because of each and every one of YOU! YOU are the superstars that make everything we do possible and worth all of the effort. There will of course be other rewards offered and we will update this page as we solidify them. Thanks, in advance, for EVERYTHING you do, have done, and continue to do for the Pokémon GO Podcast. We are continually humbled by all of the love and support we receive from the COMMUNITY.
