I have been recently diagnosed with soft tissue of the brain radionecrosis. I had Cyber Knife Radiation treatments after brain surgery. Apparently the amount of radiation used was too high and is now killing the soft tissue of my brain in the spots where the laser beam was placed in my brain. The blood vessels in my brain are deteriorating from this. In order to try and open the blood vessels the Dr.s have decided to try Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. I will have to travel 120 miles each way, 3 times per week for 40 weeks. I receive social security disability and my husband works, but will have to take time off to travel with me as I cannot drive due to 50% loss of sight during brain surgery and neuropathy in leg and arms.
