Please help us save our Mojo

***UPDATE***

Mojo had his splenectomy today. The procedure went well, but the next 24 hours are critical to his recovery. The mass that was removed was 11 POUNDS!! That’s 1/6 of his total weight. The operation was extremely complicated, we’re simply hoping his sutures hold.

We were extremely lucky to find an amazing low cost, non profit 501c3 animal clinic to perform his procedure. Our original predicted cost was our regular Vet Clinic’s best estimate. Dutton Rd Animal Clinic is fantastic, caring, more affordable, and a well kept secret. Our goal has been adjusted way down to reflect this.

Mojo joined our family when he was 8 weeks and 1 day old. He was our greatest challenge as a pup, and is now my absolute best friend. In August, Mo was diagnosed with diabetes and has responded very well to a twice a day insulin treatment. He became himself again; curious, playful, and stubborn;) Today our vet discovered a large mass on his spleen. A fast growing hematoma that could end his life in just two weeks. Surgery is his only option, and needs to be performed immediately, before the mass ruptures and he bleeds out internally. Post surgery, Mo's prognosis (quality and quantity of life left) is great!

I've never been one to ask for things publicly, but I'll do literally everything I can to save this little man. If you have anything you can spare, it will be put to the best use.

Please share our story, help us save our baby dog. Thank you!
