Please help the Rich Erb Family

This is Joan Neppl Wilhite and I want to tell you a story about our friend Rich Erb and the struggle his family is going through. They  have been hit with an unbearable tragedy. His 16 year old daughter Shelby has terminal cancer. She was originally diagnosed last May 2017 and had her leg amputated, if that wasn't bad enough by August the cancer had spread and has continued to spread in various parts of her body.  Chemo was not effective and Shelby has made the decision to face her demons and try to find some semblance of live rather than continue on with chemo.  She and her family really need your help.  Her dad,  Rich, grew up in Emerson, Iowa and was a friend to everyone.  His dad, Dick Erb,  taught at Nishna Valley High School  for years and touched many of our lives.  Rich and his wife, Linda, made the decision for Linda to stay and home and take care of Shelby, who cannot be alone. The family is struggling not only with the realization that their precious daughter is fighting for her life, but financially as Linda is now at home with Shelby.  The doctors have not been optimistic and say Shelby does not have a long-term future.  At this point Rich and Linda's goal is to provide a quality of life for their family.  The financial burden is tremendous, just struggling at this point to maintain their household and figure out how to pay for an unexpected funeral expenses.  Please help.
