Please help save Auntie Essie!
Our beloved Auntie Essie is fighting for her life in a hospital in Bali and she needs our help!
Grace Sterne, Auntie “Essie” to her nieces and nephews, was in Bali on a Christmas holiday with her daughter and family when she became very sick. She is now fighting for her life in a Balinese hospital - BIMC Kuta - and is on life support in the Intensive Care Unit.
The overseas treatment in Bali for Auntie Essie with possible medical evacuation is expected to quickly reach $150,000 USD. As a foreigner in Bali, Auntie Essie’s health insurance is not recognized and Bali practices a pay-as-you-go system that makes it urgent to get financial assistance to Auntie Essie and her family as soon as possible!
Because of the urgent need every day to pay the hospital bill her daughters have tapped all their financial resources - credit cards, cash in the bank, 401k - but have exhausted their funds and now need our help. Please give what you can. Any amount will help cover the medical bills from her hospital stay and the anticipated air ambulance costs so Auntie Essie can be seen by the specialists and return back to her family and friends.
