Our Mission
Horsewomen of Temecula Wine Country, is a parade entry composed of the award-winning Temecula Cowgirl Color Guard Team, along with the Temecula Carriage Company and many City of Temecula 2020 Leading Ladies! We strive to represent the many determined men and women, living within our community, whose love of country and pride of city compels us to unite our efforts to preserve our region's Rural Heritage. Together, we are working to promote and preserve our fertile valley's Farming and Ranching Lifestyles. We are following in the footsteps of those who have come before us, continuing their work to ensure a Rural Lifestyle for the next generation. Many of us are are choosing to live an Equestrian Lifestyle, working with so many other equestrians within our community to keep trail easements protected for public use. Our wagon-train of Successful Female Community Leaders is proof that in Riverside County's Temecula the POWER OF HOPE, HARD WORK and AMBITION can lead to realized dreams for everyone! We strive to encourage the next generation to follow our lead by one day taking over the reins of Community Stewardship.
Our Goal-Pasadena California Tournament of Roses Parade
We are asking for your kind donation to support our efforts to cover our expenses associated with entering the coveted Equestrian Rose Parade Contest, then if accepted travel to Pasadena CA's Tournament of Roses Parade. Equestrian entries must also commit to perform at the Equestfest Horse Show on December 29th, staying for the better part of the week at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. These travel expenses for our team members and horses will be our most expensive cost, in addition to the cost of real flowers required to decorate our horses and wagon. We intend to put on a WILD WEST SHOW at Equestfest that will WOW their annual sold-out crowd!
On January 1, 2020 it is our dream to proudly travel down Colorado Boulevard with our modern day wagon train of "Cowgirl Tough Temecula Women" escorted by the Temecula Cowgirl Color Guard outriders! For our city this is a good thing, as 50 million parade viewers will surely be putting a visit to Rural Temecula Valley Wine Country on their bucket lists. IN TEMECULA WE ALWAYS RIDE WITH PRIDE!
