This is my cat Beerus.

Hes very energetic, adventurous, and he loves to run around with the dogs. I got him from a friend that couldn't take care of him when he was still a little guy and he's been one of my best friends ever since. He's super friendly and gets along with pretty much anything. He loves to run around and play, then come inside the house to sleep for what seems like forever.

He's really the coolest cat, even though he's the youngest, he seems to make it his job to make sure all the other
animals are happy. If Beerus is inside the house, chances are he's cuddling with somebody.

Or cuddling with someone else.

Or cuddling with himself.

This morning I woke up to find out my amazing cat Beerus was injured. He could hardly put weight on his hind legs and and had some vicious looking wounds around his ankles.  Likely attacked by a wild animal in the area, little Beerus somehow drug himself back to my garage where he was found.

I obviously took him to the vet as soon as possible. He took the whole trip quite well, he's always been a mellow cat but I'm proud of how behaved he was.

A few hours, a lot of money, and a couple X-rays later I found out that my poor little guy has a broken leg. The vet, who was very kind by the way, told me that because the break was clean and the bones aren't touching they wont heal by themselves or with a splint.

That's when the vet gave me the devastating news. He told me I have only 2 choices at this point. The first was I could have his little leg amputated for $1500-$2000 which I would prefer to avoid if possible. My second option was to have it fixed surgically for $3500.

I don't like asking people for things. I like asking strangers even less. I'm sorry I have to do this but I currently have $11 left and I don't make nearly enough money to save what I need in time to save my cat's leg. Hes like my son and I feel so bad that I can't do this myself but time is precious and my only chance is to appeal to the kindness of strangers, so, please help me save Beerus' leg.

This will be one of the final updates.
We've waited and fought hard to try and reach our goal, and thanks to each and every one of you, whether you donated, or shared, we made a lot of progress in a short amount of time, Unfortunately the goal could not be reached and we can't save my little buddy's leg, but we can and will save his quality of life.

It's something that is hard for me to even think about, and it hurts to have to be realistic about it but too much time has passed and I don't have the money. It is with a very heavy heart I must say that we are going to amputate his leg ...and though it will never feel like a good decision, it isn't going to slow this trouble maker down one bit.

Thank you everybody so much for everything you've done to help him. I really appreciate you all.

Another day, a little more progress. He's getting much more active, though I don't think he should be. He walks around and the broken leg shifts and he falls over.

Cleaning and treating his wounds seems to be helping but without the surgery his bone wont heal. Please, please share this far and wide, everybody. Time is so precious and we're getting closer.

Here's Beerus' legs today, they seem to be starting to scab and heal.

End of day two and Beerus is still holding in there.
I honestly thought this Gofundme was going to go nowhere but I had to try anyways. Anything for my little guy. We're up to $900 within the first 2 days but we still have a way to go. Thank you everybody, so so much. Lets save his leg!

I am blown away by the response this as received in just the first day. I'm in tears right now and I really think we're going to be able to save his leg in time. Thank you everybody who donated and please share this around as much as you can!

Here he is today after I dressed his legs and gave him his medicine.
