We’re going through really tough times!

Hi my name is Jill Lamb and I Live in McKinney Texas area with my husband and my two sons, who are teenagers. I really need the support from all my friends and family since I was diagnosed with breast cancer a month ago. I just had a double mastectomy and they found cancer in two my lymph nodes. I will have to go through radiation and chemo for the next year and will not be able to work. My disability doesn’t kick in for another month and my insurance only covers 80% of everything so I will be responsible for the 20% which will add up to a great dealof money throughout the year.
This has been a tough year and a half for my family. My husband, Billy, who is a wonderful husband and father, was seriously ill over a year ago. He had an allergy reaction and his heart stopped beating. He was kept in a self-induced coma for almost 2 weeks. He has recovered since then but he lost his job and has been trying to bring in money to pay for rent and essentials. He has over 20 years of experience working for different commercial moving companies, and he can sell anything given a chance. He has not been able to find a job this past year, so he is driving for Uber and trying to support our family. Plus, earlier this year, our oldest son injured his knee and had to have surgery to repair a torn ACL.
As you can see, this has not been a great year and a half but we are strong and we’re a family and we can get through this.
