Please help Leah and Family

Dear loved ones,
The Mora family is in desperate need of your help.  Our little Leah  who is 4 months has been in and out of the hospital for almost 3 months. She had problems breathing since April 26, 2019. She was taken the doctor and  the hospital many times just to be told there was nothing wrong with her. But in May 12, 2019 we found out she had pnemonia and Pertussis a.k.a “Whooping cough” which is a very dangerous infection for an infant. She was hospitalized for 5 days and sent home. After that day until now she’s had trouble breathing to the point where she has an episode every 30 minutes. In each episode she stops breathing, and tries really hard to gasp for air and turns blue.  We took her to the doctor and hospital many times again and they thought she had “seizure like episodes” but thank God after different studies, that wasn’t the case. But then, yet again no one knew what was wrong with her. On Fathers Day, our little Leah stopped breathing at home for 4 minutes we automatically did CPR on her and called 911. It was the most terrifying moment in our life’s. We though we lost our little girl. But thank God, he was by our side. She regained Cautiousness. But struggled to breathe for another 5-10 minutes until the ambulance got there. She was rushed to the emergency room and has been at the hospital ever since. I begged the doctor to please check EVERYTHING that there has to be a reason why she stops breathing. She had another episode here at the hospital which lasted for ever. And she has to be on oxygen now. The doctor recommended to do more test so he contacted other specialists. After a cardiologist, a neurologist, and and ENT specialist did some test on her and many x rays later. We found out she has a heart murmur, reflux  and she has Laryngomalacia. Laryngomalacia Is an abnormality in which the tissue just above the vocal cords is covering her airway and it’s not allowing her to breathe. The ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) specialist recommends her to get surgery right away because it is not normal for her to stop breathing every day, every 30 minutes. She is just getting worse. The ENT Doctor said she’s not 100% sure if that’s the cause of the spells she’s having. But it’s one factor we can get rid of because we found it early. All these doctors appointments and hospital stays have affected us so much. As y’all know I haven’t been able to go back to work because of Leah always being sick and we have a Two year old Khloe. And my husband Victor has been working two jobs to keep the roof over our heads. Unfortunately he’s been having to miss work to help stay with our 2 year old because we can’t afford daycare. Which means less paychecks. As soon as Leah came to the hospital we haven’t been able to pay for any of our bills. Because we are so behind. It’s all new to us and we are desperate in need of your help. We wanted to sell plates but we can’t afford to even buy food. As embarrassing as it sounds it’s the truth. We haven’t been wanting to ask anyone for help but we don’t know what to do anymore. We have faith in God that everything will be okay. It just has been difficult. Leah will be getting surgery and we don’t know when, or how long we will be here at the hospital. But we just want to get our baby home. As soon as Leah has her surgery and recovers she will be going home and she will be in a monitor and oxygen for a month. We would appreciate anything. The smallest donation would mean the world to us. Even though we are embarrassed to ask, we honestly need help. If you can’t we totally understand. THANK YOU in advance. God bless you all.
