PLEASE HELP FEE

Please help Fee. The house fire in the photos that destroyed the home of a mum and her 2 young boys in Beerwah yesterday is the home of Fee. Fee is my mother and the mother of the young mum and grandmother of the two young boys and while the support of the community has been overwhelming for the kids and my sister - and tremendously appreciated,
Fee is yet to address her loss - concerned only for her daughter and her grandkids...however most everything in the house that burned down yesterday was Fee's.

Fee has worked in Aged Care for the past 12 years supporting our community for many, many years and has been struggling ever since she was dismissed from her position in August as an AIN as she was deemed unfit to work due to her a back injury which happened in the workplace. Fee has been looking for a new position since then wanting to go into Administration as she cannot do anything that requires heavy lifting or standing for long periods of time.

Im only telling the community this because my mother has never asked for handouts before, she has worked hard all her life just to watch everything she worked hard for crumble away in ashes and it is only now as the dust has settled that Fee has time to think of herself and what that fire meant for her.

I watched my mother cry hysterically today out in front of what remained of the home that was hers realising every piece of memorabilia, her furnishings, her bedroom, her clothing- everything she worked hard for over the years was gone.
Fee is staying with myself for now, and there is now an even longer road ahead for her before she will recover from this devestating tragedy.

I know money wont be able to bring my mums home back to her, but she will be able to use whatever is donated to start to rebuild.
