Please help Brandon with his Cancer Journey

Donation protected
Dearest friends and family,

On July 8th, 2019, after completing a biopsy of a tumor in Brandon’s right arm which has been causing him to be in severe pain, our family received the devastating news that Brandon has Osteosarcoma and will be needing Level 4 Treatment. Osteosarcoma is a type of bone cancer that fewer than 20,000 people get each year. Unfortunately, Brandon is now one of those few 20,000 people.

For those of you who don’t know us, Brandon and I have been committed to each other for 5 years and are going strong. He has been my super hero, the love of my life, and my best friend. He has carried me and my son through some difficult times, and I can’t imagine where our lives would be if I had never met him.

Brandon is a great, caring father to our two children: Devion, 11 years old, and our new baby girl Bella, 8 months old. He is a loyal family man who retains close knit relationships with everyone around him, and is kind and helpful to strangers equally!

My husband has taught me so much about life, and I want nothing more than to grow old together with this man. Brandon has always been a shoulder to lean on whenever anyone needs anything. He wears his heart on his sleeve, he's selfless, and he puts himself last after everyone else. Brandon works hard and never asks for anything, but at this time I’m asking for our community to lift him up and support him in all ways possible.

Brandon is the sole provider of our family while I stay home, raising our children and attending school full time to earn my nursing degree. Now since this big turn in our lives, we will be doing everything possible to dedicate all the time and care necessary to get Brandon well again. He will be needing chemotherapy treatment three times a week for about 3 to 5 months to try to shrink the tumor in his arm. Our prayers are that Brandon can then have surgery that we hope will remove the tumor. The chemo treatment will then continue on for at least a year. We have high hopes that he will have a positive recovery because Brandon does not smoke, drink, or have any prior medical issues.

This is emotionally and financially difficult for our family. Brandon is the our family's entire financial supporter. With him not being able to work, we don't know how we will be able to pay our rent and buy food for our children. We will also have the additional expenses of traveling to and from his chemo treatments and additional care. And we don't yet know how big the medical bills themselves will be.

We know the Lord is our healer and that He will be with us every step of the way. During this difficult season, any donations will help us greatly.  Our mailing address is
